One time I wrote these words:
When dawn comes,
I’ll be reaching over her shoulder
plucking the 1st light…
But this morning, as I blinked into the glorious day, a different story was told. I had slept past the sun’s rising. Her arms were already reaching across the earth’s surface in an embrace of perfection.

Sprout Question: What are you going to do with this glorious gift of today?
Work with clients — body, mind, and spirit — listening with, and speaking from, my heart.
As only you know how to do Laurie:) Thanks for making the time to stop in.
What are you going to do with this glorious gift of today? I love that sentence Terrill. Among other things, I plan to copy that line and post in a significant place by my writing desk. ‘Glorious gift of today’. Yes, each and every one is a glorious gift –whether they be sunny, foggy, or rainy.
Leanne I can’t take total credit for this question. It is inspired by from a Mary Oliver Poem The Summer Day where she asks at the end of the poem: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Good to hear from you and you are so right “each and every one is a glorious gift.”

Sprout Question: What are you going to do with this glorious gift of today?
i am thankful with what was given to me..
Me too Wulan… good to hear from you.
I took 15 students kayaking on the ocean, got a game of piano keys started (raft the kayaks together and two at a time, the students get out of their boats and run along the front and back of the raft, often falling off into deep, cool ocean water), and stood up in my kayak in deep water (then inevitably went for a swim!). Advantage taken!
I am only glad Jose, that I was not watching as you all teetered and fell off your kayaks. It does sound like delightful fun. And since you have shown me pictures before, I can imagine what was happening. A splendid day to be on the water.
Whenever I think that I have seen just about the most beautiful picture or photograph at this site, I am bowled over by yet another. Those first two were sent down here from heaven!
Today I started working with the gifted and talented students, which is always a special treat.
Sam, this is what I saw as I looked out the window when I raised my head off the pillow. I zipped up the stairs to the studio to grab my camera and threw the door open to the deck and snapped away until my bare feet were cold and I decided I need more on than a white cotton nightgown. Very refreshing and invigorating way to start the day!
I like hearing about your school year Sam. It is good to notice more than what students and parents experience when September starts.
