Sprout question: How well do you roll with something that is unexpected?

Deep breath. Remind myself of the inherent goodness of people. Move on and make a new plan.
Who taught me that?
Giggling Jose… could it be me? It is true. I do believe in the inherent goodness of people. Life is so much more fun and easier that way. See you Sunday. I can hardly wait to see how the bump is doing… oh, and to see you and Ryan too:)
I wish I could write well…and…eventually I do get there. However, it is a process. First I must protest –either silently or aloud. If it is a change I have caused/created it is easier to take. If it has been imposed upon me by fate, mother nature, or another, it is far more difficult. If I can’t complain directly to the source, I find a safe harbour upon which to stage my assault. I’m not proud of this aspect of my personality, and am seeking to change. I guess I, like many, am human. : )
Yes Leanne your human response is common to unexpected change. It reminds me of a very popular leadership book and video “Who has moved my cheese?” Here is a video clip preview that give us the salient points http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C0M2CL9TJE
So cool! Thank you for share that link with me. Ah, Haw, I’ll be there someday. : )
Glad you liked it Leanne. I first saw this video about nine years ago. It stuck with me. Though I most often do change relatively easy, I sure do appreciate that this is not the case with everyone or anyone all of the time.
Terrill – I’m so glad that I purchased the MAYNE ISLAND TREE SPIRITS calendar for 2011. It’s drop-dead gorgeous!
Sprout question: How well do you roll with something that is unexpected?
Well, I guess that would depend:
If it’s a pleasant surprise, I roll with smiles and laughter.
If it’s unpleasant, there may well be a tussel!
I am so happy for you Laurie. And laughing or tussling it is always a pleasure to have you here and to drop one of your classes over at “Speaking from the Heart“
