There is something I forgot to tell you about my solo art exhibition, Sea, Land and Time, opening this coming Friday, September 3, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Bring your cheque book or cash. There are a few smaller pieces, such as cards and calendars and small photographs printed on canvas, but some of the larger oil paintings are over a thousand dollars. I personally recommend you bring your cheque book. I do not accept credit cards and I wouldn’t want you to leave disappointed.
I have heard from many of you and I am extremely excited to see your smiling face. It is a busy long weekend on Mayne Island so you will want to secure your sleeping arrangements in advance. Hum, that does sound like an interesting proposition doesn’t it?
Here are a few of links that you may find useful in your planning.

Just to let you know, two oil paintings have already sold during the publicity for this show. Come early for the best selection.
If you are not able make it, leave a sprout anyway and wish me happy birthday. I always love to hear from you. Yes it is my birthday today or rather that would be yesterday in blogging time 🙂
Sprout Question: What sprout question are you asking yourself today?
P. S. I am away all day Tuesday. The next post will be on Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Congratulations on your Solo show and pre-sales!!! WoW!!!
Have a great exhibit…. opening!
Happy Birthday !!!! (((Hugs)))
I am Love, Jeff
Thank you Jeff:) I have had the best birthday… just nibbled on the last piece of birthday cake a little while ago. Always nice when a birthday lingers.
Echoing Jeff’s wish: Happy Birthday! Sounds like this exhibition is a great gift to yourself. It should be a great success. Wish we were closer…what fun it would be to see it. What sprout questions am I asking myself today? Hmmmm…..How do I continue to live and create with more integrity? What does integrity mean to me? What ways am I not in integrity? (No answers, only questions!)
Kathy these are some great sprout questions… a whole weeks worth at least. Enjoy. And it would be nice if you and all of the Creative Potager community could attend. Wouldn’t we just have the most fun?!
That would be so wonderful, Terrill! If only…
Well, we will be there “in spirit” any way.
Please stop by my blog to see a guest blog by Laurie. I’ve decided to slowly–maybe haphazardly–start introducing some of the regular readers/commenters. http://upwoods.wordpress.com/2010/08/31/the-blog-youve-all-been-waiting-for-introducing/
Oh I have just been over your way Kathy. Wonderful little bird you had drop in.
Dear readers, you may just want to follow Kathy’s link and join in the fun. I have seven more canvas prints to enter into my inventory system and I am determined to get it done in the next hour. So not much fun happening here… but I do have a post for tomorrow for you all called “Break n Entry”
happy birthday terrill and congratulations on your opening show, prior sales and ooohs and aaaahs! have a wonderful time
Thank you Nancy… your best wishes for ooohs and aaaahs are warmly received.
happy, Happy, HAPPY birthday to YOU Terrill! Congratulations on your pre-sales, that’s absolutely fantastic!
Sprout Question? What in the WORLD possessed Len and I to ride our bicycles 53 miles today?! Our legs are still wobbling!!
Thank you Laurie and I hope you have recovered from your bicycle marathon ride. At this rate you will be able to peddle to the opening.
Sounds like the show will be a great success.
Sprout Question…
I was told by my boss I am not engaged to my work, however – am doing a good job, also I bark orders at people????
These are farthest from the truth, in fact two of my manager said Last week, Kim you can’t be expected to be engaged in your work, you are busy enough making sure everyone else is engaged. Then a director and medical director agreed twice last week I am irreplaceable, which no one is that, but it felt good none the less….
Kim, I hope you have found some answers to your sprout question… or maybe it led to some more questions for you? Sounds like it was a tough week. Take good care of yourself.
Happy Birthday Terrill!!!!!!!!
This is a fastastic event, and I can well imagine what a huge success it will be. One day circumstances will make it possible for me to travel this kind of distance, but I wish you all a smashing success.
I am asking myself what kids I will be teaching when the 2010-2011 school year convenes on Wednesday.
Ahhh Sam, the beginning of another school year. I was just at my daughter’s place and she is doing the same. It is such a wonderful kind of anticipation.
I am looking forward to the day you can drop over here on Mayne Island as well. Thank you so much for the wishes. I picked up the last of the opening goodies while I was away. So I think I am ready… except for finishing inventory of photographs that will go in the show.
Happy Birthday Sis!!! A day late by the time you get this, but heartfelt all the same. Congrats on the sale of two paintings, before your show even began! That is wonderful.
To tired to ask myself a sprout question …. so I am off to bed.
Thanks Sue… so glad you could drop in here at Creative Potager. Sometimes going to bed with out a sprout question is the perfect nurturing care for our creativity. I hope you slept well.

Kat 🙂
Thank you Katina. I wish you could come as well. Would be nice to have a wee bit of face time.

-Alicia
Thank you Alicia. I appreciate your wishes and just being able to have a show seems like a success to me. Everything else is gravy on the potatoes.
Happy belated birthday, Terrill. Sunday was a wonderful day; I hope you had a wonderful birthday.
My sprout question: How can I be in two places at one time? : ) I every wish for a very successful show.
Thanks Leanne and I wish you could be in two places at the same time too:) But the show will be up three weeks so you will be able to slip by. However, it is a lot of fun to be at the opening I think. Another time.
